Warning, buzzed post (pump and dump night for me). We're at Van Halen. I've never seen more mullets in my whole life!

Bob marley's son is opening act. How weird is that?

Eta: the drunker I get, the more I realize I like reggae.

achy!

I was just bragging to Will the other day about how glad I am that I don't have that horrible back pain I had when pg with david. Then, BOOM! It hit in the worst way today. It's like being stabbed in the lower back, and nothing helps. I still have the back brace an ortho gave me from last time, but it's not helping. I think I've just been doing too much. Probably doesn't help that I haven't slept more than 2 hour stretches in weeks. How am I going to handle 5 more weeks of this?

Ok. I'm done bitching. I just needed to vent because I've been pretty mean and moody to Will today.

ouch!!!

Has anyone had this happen during pg? My left hip is killing me!!! It's like stabbing pains every time I move it. When I'm standing or sitting still it's fine, but I can't walk because it hurts so much. Is it the baby sitting on a nerve or Relaxin kicking in to loosen everything? OUCH!!!

Pins & Needles!

I can't WAIT TO hear if I'm going to get a niece or nephew! Andrea is at her big u/s appt right now, and she promised to call me first. I'll post as soon as I hear, if she says it's ok.

Had a VERY long meeting with our builder this morning. Every time we meet with him, you can just hear the ka-ching sound b/c I find something that I just can't live without that costs us a bunch of cash. Today, it's new siding for the original addition. It really needs it. The front, sides, and entire first floor of our house is brick, but there's some siding in the back. The new siding is much nicer than the old stuff that will probably start to rot. So, add another two thousand. Ugh! It's cheaper than doing it later, though. Oh, the good news, is that the framer found a way to give me an 8' front door, instead of the 6'8" door we have now. Yay! I did choose the door I want, so that's exciting. Our windows are going in any day now too. Well, the vinyls in the back. The front wood windows take about 12 weeks.

We are ahead of schedule, and there's a chance that they could finish the end of May! He still wants to plan for the end of June, though, to get all the loose ends tied up.

My computer or LJ?

  • Feb. 15th, 2007 at 2:02 PM

Is anyone else losing posts left and right today on here? Every time I click on something on LJ, it gives me an error screen, then I have to go backwards or refresh. WTF? I don't think it's my computer because it's only when I'm on here. Maybe that's a clue that I'm supposed to be working instead of messing around on here. haha!

Trigger shot is nearly gone. I think I remember it being a barely there line for a few days last time, so we'll see. Oh, and I'm an idiot. I forgot to take my progesterone last night. I took it this morning, so I'm sure it's fine. I actually didn't get the prog. supps with David until I got +HPT's, so I'm sure it's no biggie.

We got another check from our old mortgage company. So weird. They claim the money keeps coming from an escrow account that they closed out at our closing on the new loan. $1200 this time. Suh-weet! I'm not looking that gift horse in the mouth! I'm just going to shut my mouth and deposit it again! ;)

David is still sleeping. It's almost 9AM. He slept through the night, which is unusual for him lately b/c his molars have popped through. Poor baby must still not be feeling well. He's obviously staying home with me again. I hear him breathing on the monitor, so I'm not going to disturb him. Hopefully he's feeling better, and he's just having a lazy morning.

Have a great day everyone!

I need help! When I put my forerunner on the charger yesterday, it fully charged. I went to use it today, and it says " Battery Charging Complete", but it won't turn on at all. None of the buttons are working. I have no idea what's going on. Does anyone know how to reset it, or has anyone had this happen? I hope I don't have to return it. The box is packed away in storage for 6 months!

TIA for your help!

Things I want to remember at 19 Months

David can count to 5. Most restaurants we go to give him crayons, and he will count them out up to 5.

He knows his vowels. This shocks me. Our ped said he's too young to learn about numbers & letters, but it doesn't hurt to start teaching him. Well, every time we read him a story, he will point to a vowel in the book and sing out "A, E, I, O, OUUUUUUU". It cracks me up!

I'm so happy I put him in daycare. I don't think I could have done as good of a job teaching him. :)

Speaking of which, I'm off to get my little cuddlebug.

Have a great weekend everyone!

HE'S FINE!!! :)

  • May. 12th, 2006 at 8:12 AM

Will is fine. He finally got the news at like 12:30 last night. They ran every test known to man, and he's fine. The doctor just thinks it's a random virus. They tested everything, including his heart. It's nice to hear that his heart is still at 100%. Thank you all for your support and prayers!

Onto issue #2. Still no AF. I thought about buying a different test, but I'm just going to go to my doctor for a bloodtest. My dermatologist has me on tetracycline b/c my skin was crazy after I stopped nursing. Tetra is dangerous for pg women, so I want to be sure. I obviously stopped taking it, and I probably don't really need it anymore, but it's nice to have reassurance on the pg front. I'll use the tetra as an excuse to get immediate results from my bloodtest. I don't want to sweat it out all weekend.

I think I can finally say that I'm starting to feel a little bit better. I'm not nauseous all day long anymore. It just kind of comes and goes. :D I'm almost through with my 11th week. I can't believe the end of my first trimester is almost here. The official end is my doctor's appt a week from today. Yay!

I love listening to the baby on the Doppler now. Will and I were listening to her this morning. I can tell how much she's grown, just by where I find her heartbeat. It used to be down below my pelvic bone, but now she's up a lot further. She's also VERY active. I have to move the Doppler to keep up with her as she swims around. (can you tell I REALLY believe it's a girl?)

Other than that, life is pretty boring. Work is busy. We have out of town friends staying with us this Friday night. I may tag along for dinner, but I'm going to bow out of the bar scene, if that's what they do. It's all up to Will. That's past my bedtime of about 9:30. ;)

Hope everyone is having a great week!!!

Question.... What's the big deal about The Right Start? A lot of my friends register for their baby there, but I just don't see the big deal. Judging from their website, it doesn't look like they carry much, and it's expensive. Just curious....

To end this dumb drama, I've opened my LJ up to everyone. I have nothing to hide, and I don't want anyone to think I'm talking behind their back. Trust me, I have other stuff to occupy my thoughts lately.

I have decided it's time to trim down my friends list. If you'd like access to my LJ, please post here.
